My Name is Arik, 38 years of age. I am a Private Tour Guide In Israel for 10 years Already! My first private tours in Israel that I’ve Given were at the International School of the Study of the Holocaust, Jerusalem. I started giving guided tours all over Israel from 2012 while working in the Holocaust Museum. Working there gave me the basic tools to be a great private tour guide in Israel! This extensive course about the Holocaust made me extremely knowledgeable about this period of time and also to understand that to be a private tour guide in Israel is my vocation! After working for five years as a local tour guide I had decided to professionalize in the field and to be a licensed tour guide in Israel by the Ministry of Tourism. The 2 years course gave me the chance to deepen my knowledge base and to decide that giving private tours in Israel is my true calling. During the private tour guide course I also did a Master of Arts degree in the Land of Israel Studies that was granted to me by the University of Haifa, so my knowledge base had expanded even more!
